Valley & Vineyard
The grapes for this wine were harvested from selected
vineyards in Chile’s Central Valley. This valley is particularly
characterized for having clearly defined seasons with cool,
rainy winters and warm summers with high daytime
temperatures moderated by cool nights. The grapes are
able to ripen fully thanks to the excellent exposure to the
sun, dry summers and a lack of rain at the time of harvest.
Fermentation & Ageing
The juice is fermented for 20 days in stainless steel tanks at
temperatures between 10ºC and 12ºC. This captures the
fruity and floral flavours of the varieties. The
prefermentation maceration takes place at 8ºC for 2-3
hours in the press. The wine is bottled young in order to
preserve its fruit characteristics.
Tasting Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc is bright yellow in color with green
tints. Its aromas are intense, dominated by citric flavors,
especially pink grapefruit. Floral notes combine perfectly
with the subtle tropical fruit flavors. In the palate it is
medium-bodied and has a balanced acidity which gives it a
crisp freshness. It has a long fruity finish.
